About This Ministry - James & Jennifer Lang

April, 2022

This ministry consists of James and Jennifer Lang (read our About James & Jennifer page for more details.) We sold our place in the city and bought a small piece of land in some woods in the foothills of the Ozarks. This is where we want to begin our ministry together, in our retirement years.

We are presently living off-grid in the woods in a fifth-wheel. We are working on an adobe cabin as we are able, but it's taken longer than we hoped it would. Once we get our home base in order, our plan is to begin evangelizing in this area, and to farther away places as we can get to them. Our evangelism includes anointed music, preaching the word, feeding the hungry, seeing people saved, healed, and delivered through the power of the Name of Yahushuwa. We also will re-start filming another show that has been on hold for a few years, that replaces 'This Land", which has been off the air for several years. The new show, called "The Mud People" is on our Youtube channel.

This ministry is about getting people saved, healed, and delivered out of darkness, and teaching them how to stay saved, healed and in the light after they get born-again. We try to keep the gospel as simple as we can, yet include the important things that most ministries leave out, such as the commandments in both Old and New Testaments that apply to believers today, because once you give your life to the Messiah, you are instructed in the Scriptures BY the Messiah, to "Go and sin NO MORE" - and that means that you must begin to study the Scriptures to learn what sin is, so that you can stop doing it. Since 1 John 3:4 gives the definition of sin as violation of the commandments ("Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law") then you must learn what the commandments are, so that you can start obeying them and stop violating them. This ministry is about helping people to understand and apply this information.

James is an evangelist/prophet and music minister, and has been told by several people that he is an apostle.
I, Jennifer, am a worship leader/psalmist and teacher. We believe in the gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit, including healing, casting out demons, raising the dead, speaking and/or praying in tongues given by the Holy Spirit, and we operate in these gifts as the Holy Spirit leads us. We have both seen people healed supernaturally by the gift of healing, and James has even raised a dead man. We believe that once we get this ministry going and start evangelizing, we will see miracles like this again. We can do nothing outside of Yahushuwa in us, but His Word says that signs and wonders will follow those who believe, so we expect the Word of Yahuwah to be confirmed with miracles to follow as we minister. Mark 16:20 "And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen."

We want to go out and evangelize, with praise and worship music, preaching, prayer, teaching, and food to distribute to the people who need it. We've taken a break from preaching and evangelizing so that we can get our home front set up and stabilized, but we are chomping at the bit to start ministering again, and when Yahuwah tells us it's time to start, then we will. See an example of one of our small outreaches, where we served a hot meal, had music and preaching, and prayer for the sick:

"Outreach in Tulsa, OK prt 1"  (music)

"Outreach in Tulsa, OK" prt 2  (guy in wheelchair healed)

Below is from when James preached in a local congregation and this young girl, Victoria, was healed of severe scoliosis. I had known her family for several years, and her back was obviously curved in an 'S' shape until this day in 2010, when Yahuwah healed her. Her back was straightened instantly. James didn't even pray for her. She was healed before he got to her! Praise Yahuwah! This is the direction we want to go once again.

"This precious girl remains healed of severe scoliosis, to this day, 12 years later"

John 21:16 instructs us that if we love Yahushuwa, we are to feed His sheep (his followers), and we believe this means both physical food and spiritual and emotional food. Many ministries will say to the poor "I'll pray that you stay warm and get enough to eat" but they won't actually provide food and clothing for you! Quite a few believers have said that to us as we've struggled out here in the woods with limited income, and we know that some of them are struggling like us, but we also know that some of them have plenty of money, yet they've never offered to help us, even though they know we are evangelists working on building up this ministry, and even though they know we have been lacking because of getting cheated of funds as we prepared to come out here. It's way more common that you'd expect! (More unbelievers have helped us than fellow believers!)

This violates James 2:15-17 "If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." Many believers are hungry for life sustaining food, and many are also starving for spiritual food (the Word of Yahuwah) and emotional food (the knowledge and tools to help them think healthy thoughts and live healthy lifestyles). We do not want to be guilty of James 2:15-17, but we instead want to be part of the solution, at least for the people whom are close enough that we can reach them with the physical food, and through the Internet we hope to reach many throughout the world with the spiritual and emotional food. Here are a couple of Scriptures to make you think - these make it clear that we are not to just help 'fellow believers' (brothers), but we are to help the strangers as well:

Matthew 25:31-46 "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

Isaiah 58:6-14 "Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of Yahuwah shall be thy reward. Then shalt thou call, and Yahuwah shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day: And Yahuwah shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of Yahuwah, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in Yahuwah; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of Yahuwah hath spoken it."

Mark 16:14-19 "Afterward he (Yahushuwa) appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after Yahushuwa had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of Yahuwah."
